Yes. It installs straight from my.intellimeter.africa through Chrome or Safari, over a secure connection. There's no APK file, no “unknown sources” setting, and the app can't see your contacts, photos or messages.
No. Your phone's browser installs it for you. It gets its own icon and opens full-screen like any other app.
Less than 1 MB, a tiny fraction of a typical app.
Never. Every time you open it you get the latest version automatically.
Create an account with your meter number, your estate's mother meter (KPLC account) and your M-PESA number. We send a code by SMS, then you choose a 4-digit PIN.
Use Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone. If you opened this link inside WhatsApp or Facebook, open it in your browser first. If it's already installed, the option disappears; look for IntelliMeter on your home screen or in your app list.
You need data or Wi-Fi to see live figures. If you're offline, the app shows a friendly notice and picks up again when you reconnect.
Press and hold the icon, then tap Uninstall (Android) or Remove App (iPhone). Your account is not affected.
